Classes
Specialty Classes
Active Living Fitness Club is in a unique position to be able to offer specialty fitness classes unavailable at other facilities. The expertise of our Fitness staff, along with the club’s relationship with Active Living Physiotherapy, allows us to prepare evidence-based classes for any medical condition and level of physical functioning.
Currently our classes include: Exercising with Parkinson's Disease, Exercise following Stroke, Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Exercise Class and Falls Prevention.
We review our class schedule every 3-4 months.
Other Classes
Other classes we have that compliment our specialty classes include Yoga and Tai Chi.
Due to our small class sizes these classes can be adjusted based on ability as well
Classes are offered 2-3 times a week and are between 30-60 minutes in length.
